About I Still Got It

Part of my Greetings from St. Augustine series, I Still Got It is a pastel painting of a skeleton surfing the waves off the coast of St. Augustine, Florida. He may be old, but he can still surf with the best of them! I love skeletons and St. Augustine, Florida, so I did a series of paintings featuring tourists and famous St. Augustine landmarks featuring skeletons, of course!

I Still Got It is a 16×20″ pastel painting on paper. It is unframed and not matted. Shipping is free anywhere in the continental USA. Everywhere else, please contact me.

Available in paper prints, cards and canvas wrap

You can choose from 11×14″ or 8×10″ inkjet prints on double-sided matte paper, 5×7″ greeting cards with matching white envelopes, or canvas wrap prints in three different sizes. There’s something for every budget and every size wall here, so do your worst. I’ll love you for it. Prices include shipping anywhere in the continental USA. Everywhere else, please contact me.

Greetings from St. Augustine series

This surfing skeleton is part of my Greetings from St. Augustine series,  a set of paintings that I did featuring skeletons as tourists capering on and around St. Augustine, Florida’s famous landmarks, like the Castillo de San Marcos, the Bridge of Lions and the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, to name a few. I love imagining all the people that ever lived in the oldest city in America still wandering around and enjoying the sights and sounds of this awesome tourist destination.

About skellies

I love skellies because they’re fearless and free. When painting them I find that they take on a life of their own! If they make you laugh, then I feel my job is done. Life is short! Skellies are forever!

Pastels

Pastels are my medium of choice because they’re so versatile and immediate. I love the way the light refracts when it hits the chalk. I love all the different marks you can make with them. This piece was done on Canson mi-teintes paper, using various brands of pastels.
