End of Kinney Road, a winter landscape by Marie Marfia
I am lucky to live in beautiful Mason county in the state of Michigan. This winter landscape is about walking along dirt roads in the Manistee National Forest. On this day I was with my dogs after a recent snow. Mornings often find me walking along a two track road with Roger and Daisy. In this piece I was focused on the texture of the road and the trees and the bright area in the distance where the sun was lighting up the snow.
The original painting has been sold. I offer greeting cards and notecards that come with white envelopes and are blank on the inside. I also offer paper prints and canvas wraps prints in 8×10″ and 12×16″ sizes. The prints and cards are printed by me on an Epson Stylus Photo R2000. I use double-sided matte photo paper and ship them between pieces of foam core so your art arrives safely. The canvas wraps are made to order in California and drop-shipped so you may expect delivery in 2-3 weeks.
About landscape art by Marie Marfia
As someone who loves to paint landscapes, I am fortunate enough to live in a beautiful area in northwest Lower Michigan. I’m just a few minutes from the Ludington State Park, the Queen of Michigan state parks with its miles of Lake Michigan coastline, and I’m within a short car ride of the wilds of the Manistee National Forest and the Pere Marquette National Scenic River. Truly I am surrounded by inspiration on all sides!
If you are interested in having me paint a similar landscape just for you, please contact me and let me know the size you’d prefer. I’ll get back to you with a price and time when I can do the work.
